Gratta

Programmer-Engineer / Drupal Dynamist

The son of a physics professor and a physics-trained art teacher, Giulio brings a background in product design, engineering and web design to his role as Programmer-Engineer. Proficient in the languages of the web (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript) Giulio also has deep experience with the Drupal CMS and technology frameworks like JQuery, DOM Scripting and AJAX methodologies.

But Giulio Gratta is more than his technical training and awesomely alliterative given name. A Stanford graduate and true Renaissance man, Giulio has gifted B’stro with his wide range of talents, interests, and pursuits.

The quadrilingual Giulio (Italian, French, German and English) doesn’t just build websites and software. During his engineering studies at Stanford and in his own time, Giulio has concepted such items as a folding mahogany, maple and brass music stand and an ergonomic whisk. A sometime professional photographer and enthusiastic amateur chef, Giulio Gratta is a well-rounded thinker and a welcome addition to the B’stro team.
