UCSF Chancellor Website
UCSF is a world leader in medical research and the birthplace of the biotech industry. Chancellor Sue Desmond-Hellmann, upon taking the helm in 2009, outlined five priorities that have come to define the university’s future path: Patients and Health, Discovery, Education, People and Business. Our team collaborated with UCSF to create a dynamic website that would reinforce the Chancellor’s goals. We focused on making a site that would clearly outline her priorities and demonstrate how they are being put into action. We also made it a priority to make the site easy for the UCSF team to keep fresh—without having to enlist web developers.
Today, the Chancellor’s site features a multitude of rich content areas filled with large photos, engaging videos and in-depth articles that are regularly updated without the need for a developer. Schedules of speaking engagements, upcoming appearances and “Emails to Campus” are featured on the site, as well as an area for media coverage. In this media area, we featured articles on each of the key priorities, committees and awards, bios on the Leadership Team and UCSF news coverage of the priorities.
The site has become an effective and useful resource for the Chancellor and the broader community. The intuitive presentation of information and approachable design make it easy to find and see the Chancellor’s plans in action. B’stro is proud to offer its continued support to help UCSF achieve their goal of “advancing health worldwide.”
