Township of Langley Website

The Township of Langley needed a new, interactive website for their Community Energy and Emissions Plan (CEEP). Their goal: to identify ways in which the Township, residents of all ages, businesses, schools, hospitals and other organizations in the community could reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

To get this community brainstorm rolling, Langley leadership asked B’stro to create a fun, interactive website that would make it easy for visitors to submit their ideas on environmental improvement. So to allow residents the opportunity to share their suggestions on how to reduce energy and greenhouse gas emissions in just few clicks, B’stro designed and developed ournewenvironment.ca: one of the first truly democratic online forums put forward by a Canadian government body.

The Township of Langley loved everything about our website: its ease of use, its intuitive architecture, and its “insider” tagline: “The Birthplace of Bright Ideas.” (The Township of Langley is known locally as “The Birthplace of BC”). As for us, we couldn’t be happier to help the Township move ever closer to realizing their environmental goals.
