MS Tech Signage & Collateral

NEC wanted to create as much buzz as possible around their new enterprise server with dynamic partitioning. So when planning their booth for the MS Tech show, they turned to B’stro.

In order to best target the younger IT professionals who typically make up the majority of attendees at the MS Tech show, we wracked our brains for a concept known to capture the attention of such a group. At the time of the show, a certain musical video game phenomenon had just hit the market. Inspired by the popoularity of this remarkable game, it wasn’t long before a consensus was reached: we would center the show theme on a Guitar Hero giveaway.

To capture the energy and excitement surrounding NEC’s new dynamic partitioning (DP) software—and awesome giveaway—we echoed the rock and roll sentiment of their offering in the bright and bold visuals for their show signage, print ads, and promotional materials like buttons, t-shirts, room-drop materials, mailers and other associated collateral. We united the dual theme of dynamic partitioning and rock and roll with the slogan “DP and NEC Rocks!”

NEC was delighted at the crowds that were attracted to the booth and the number of leads collected at the show. We were delighted with the rockin’ role we got to play as designers. And as for that that lucky MS Tech attendee who walked away with an Xbox360 with Guitar Hero—well, we assume they were just plain delighted.
