Light Crafts Website

Light Crafts creates powerful digital photo editing software for photographers of all stripes. Intuitive and easy to learn, their unique editing tools simply “make photos better.” So when tasked with the redesign and complete re-organization of LightCrafts.com, we made sure to mirror that same simplicity and ease of use.

By designing and programming a custom flash feature directly on the new website’s homepage, we were able to immediately showcase the power of Light Crafts technology to website visitors. By simply dragging their cursor from right to left, the viewer could immediately experience the illuminating effects Light Crafts had on photos.

Then, inspired by the way Light Crafts makes it easy for even the most bush league shutterbug to create stunning final images, we also wanted to make their new website exceptionally easy to update internally. So in addition to programming the site using Wordpress for easy updates and utilizing a Flickr feed to keep the Community page dynamic, we also linked the company’s Twitter page directly to the homepage to keep content fresh without fuss. And to keep things simple from start to finish, we made sure that Light Crafts’ online store integrated seamlessly with the 3rd party merchant of their choice.
