Dry Creek Olive Company Identity

Dry Creek Olive Company, as a producer of distinctive olive oils, is rich in history and tradition. Dry Creek's arborists, growers, wine farmers/vintners and master oil blenders pride themselves on taking a hands-on approach from tree to press.

To prepare for the assignment of creating Dry Creek’s new logo, we steeped ourselves in olives from the oil to the pits. Over impeccable martinis, we decided on a natural, authentic approach reminiscent of the region that inspired Dry Creek Olive Oils: Perugia, Italy. The rustic illustration (created in-house) transports the viewer to the low rolling hills and dry, hot summers of the Mediterranean.

Dry Creek felt that their new look captured them to perfection. So we used it as the basis for designing their web site and stationery, as well as their soap and olive oil labels. And then, we had a pit-spitting contest (Antonio won).
