Chaise Lounge Identity

Two women had a dream to turn a hole in the wall in a rapidly gentrifying area into an upscale meeting place and lounge. The name was Chaise Lounge and the vibe was 1920s meets Moulin Rouge. We came up with a sexy, speakeasy motif and the iconic Red Shoe was born. It was glamorous and strong, new but not pretentious. Kind of like the neighborhood. The Red Shoe was just the beginning of a seductive, iconic campaign. The launch featured a girl in fishnets and a strategically placed caption "wish you were here". And the opening party spilled out onto the street.

Chaise loved our Identity work so much that they hired us to do their website design and development, promotional postcards, flyers and ads. And the beloved "Red Shoe" ended up on bar coasters, t-shirts, poker chips and even underwear (Sharon's wearing hers now).
