BCPWA Video Presentation

The British Columbia Persons With AIDS Society (BCPWA) strives to help those living with AIDS and HIV disease to empower themselves through mutual support and collective action. In efforts to raise money and awareness for their cause, BCPWA asked B’stro to create a video that would contribute to their fundraising initiative by stimulating an emotional connection with viewers.

The ten-minute documentary film features three individuals living with AIDS or HIV and highlights how BCPWA has helped them to overcome personal struggles and challenges brought about by the disease. B’stro conducted casting interviews and edited and filmed the documentary in collaboration with a videographer. The film was presented at a fundraising breakfast hosted by BCPWA and raised over $20,000 in proceeds. This was a new record for the BCPWA and considered an extremely successful fundraising effort.
